1. How much will it cost to own a @Corner franchise?
The franchise fee for a @Corner Internet Café is US Dollars Ten Thousand Only (USD10, 000.00).

2. What are the terms of the @Corner franchise?
The term of the franchise is 2 years with the right to renew. Immediately upon signing of this Agreement, the Franchisee shall pay to the Franchisor a security deposit of US Dollars Five Thousand Only (USD5, 000.00). The said deposit will be refunded to the Franchisee on termination of this Agreement. And monthly royalties fee of US Dollars Five Hundred Only (USD500.00) is payable from the 7th to 24th month. After the first year, we will do a review on the monthly royalties, ranging from 2 to 4%.

4. Who will look for the site?
Once you have passed the evaluation, we'll assist and advise you in choosing a location. To ensure the success of the franchise, the prospective franchisee should look for sites based on our site selection criteria.

5. What are the criteria in selecting a site for @Corner?
@Corner requires a 2000 square feet area to adequately service its large and growing clientele. It should be located preferably in high traffic commercial/residential areas accessible to both pedestrians and motorists.

6. How long will it take to recover my investment?
Financial viability depends on various factors such as sales, investment and ability of the franchisee to effectively manage his expenses. This will be discussed further during the franchisee interview.

7. How many people will I have to hire? Who does the hiring?
A typical @Corner branch will have at least 3 employees including the Branch Manager. We will provide the franchisee with a set of qualifications and will assist in the screening of potential employees.

8. Do we need to form a corporation before applying for a @Corner franchise?
@Corner awards franchises to individuals only. If he/she so desires, however this individual can form a corporation where he/she is a majority owner.

9. I already own another franchise; can I still apply for a @Corner franchise?
Yes, subject to @Corner franchise agreement. As the principal/majority or owner of the @Corner franchise, you cannot be involved in direct competition.

10. Who will provide the building plans? Who will do the construction?
@Corner will design your Internet café and have it built by one of its accredited contractors. This will assure you of accurate and consistent compliance to tried and tested design specifications. The Internet café will be constructed at a cost to be carried by the franchisee. Cost to acquire building permits, the professional fees and other incidental costs will be shouldered by the franchisee.

11. Is training for the franchisee and his employees provided?
@Corner will provide the franchisee, free of charge, with 2 days at headquarters and 2 days at franchisee’s location. Hands-on training covering administrative, operational, and marketing matters. From time to time, refresher and developmental training programs will be given.

12. What marketing and advertising support will I receive?
Store advertising, website & promotions materials within @Corner budget will be provided.

13. What are the qualifications required of a @Corner franchisee?
We require our franchisees to be business oriented. They do not necessarily have to have experience in managing a similar business; however they should have the capability and willingness to learn the business. Their active involvement in the operations of the Internet café is important. A @Corner franchisee enjoys working, communicating and relating with employees and customers.

14. What are the responsibilities of a franchisee?
(a) To operate the business according to @Corner standards
(b) To provide the highest quality, reliability and efficiency of service to all customers
(c) To protect all proprietary @Corner materials from scrutiny or casual review by competitors, visitors and the general public
